Moving Monsters Y3 Children made monsters out of junk and used a pneumatic system (syringes/balloon pumps/tubing/balloons) to make one or two parts move. We then displayed the finished designs on the wall using picture hooks and shoe boxes. Also on the display are examples of childrens design ideas, methods, evaluations and procedural text. |

Containers (not just money!) The children brought in all types of containers to evluate and designed a container for a specific purpose. anging from a make-up bag for mum to a PSP holder.. |

Moving toys (cams and followers) The children designed their own moving
toys, having studied various mechanisms, and these
were then displayed for all to see. The font used for
the display lettering was 'jokerman' which makes the
circular letters look like cogs. |
